You can now use your hotpoints anywhere Mastercard® is accepted^. So, you can use your hotpoints to shop from millions of local, international and online retailers. Or option two – choose a reward from the extensive selection of items in our online catalogue, like merchandise and gift cards.
How do I redeem my Westpac hot points?
Simply log in to Westpac One® online banking, go to the hotpoints section available from the accounts page and click on the ‘Redeem your hotpoints now’ link. This will take you through to the hotpoints website where you can redeem using hotpoints Pay® or choose another reward.
Do hot points expire?
Yes, hotpoints last for three years unless you cancel your card or switch to a non hotpoints Westpac credit card such as an Airpoints™ credit card or Low Rate Mastercard®. In both instances, your hotpoints will expire 90 days from the date you close your hotpoints credit card account.
What are hot points worth?
You will earn 1 hotpoint for every $1 spent on the card in NZ dollars. This is an effective 0.5% cashback on everyday spend, based on 200 hotpoints being worth $1 when redeemed towards travel gift cards with Flight Centre, helloworld, House of Travel and YOU Travel.

I have more than one hotpoints account, how do I transfer points between them? You’ll need to call us on 0800 861 862, weekdays from 8am – 6pm, and we can transfer your points into another account of your own.
How do Hotpoints e vouchers work?
Once hotpoints have been redeemed via hotpoints Pay, they cannot be reversed. If you return a purchase that you paid for using hotpoints Pay, you will receive a refund in your hotpoints credit card account and the hotpoints you earned will be reversed. The hotpoints Pay redemption will not be reversed.

How do you earn hot points?
Every time you make a purchase with your Westpac hotpoints credit card, you earn hotpoints. Some types of transactions don’t earn hotpoints, such as cash advances, fees and interest charges, and cash substitutes such as gambling chips or online gambling.
Why did my credit card rewards disappear?
If your credit card issuer cancels your account for inactivity, your points disappear. Some issuers might take away your rewards immediately. For example, the Bank of America® Travel Rewards credit card terms and conditions state that your points will be forfeited if your account is closed for any reason.
Do cash rewards expire?
As long as your account remains in good standing, Cash Rewards do not expire. Forfeiture Cash Rewards are subject to forfeiture. See page 7.
Can I use Flybuys points to buy gift cards?
Redemption of flybuys points cannot be used on iTunes, gift cards, layby payments and purchases and Coles MasterCard payments. A maximum of 4,000 flybuys points can only be redeemed once per day. Promotional vouchers cannot be used in the same transaction.
Can I use my Flybuys dollars at Officeworks?
Can I redeem my Flybuys points at Officeworks? Flybuys points can be redeemed at the Flybuys Rewards store where you will be able to use your points to purchase Officeworks Gift Cards.
